Match Number Two: Number One Contender Gauntlet for the United States Championship

Segment Number One: Rey Mysterio versus Cesaro

Cesaro with a waist lock take down and he gets a near fall with a bridge. Cesaro with another near fall. Cesaro gets a third cover. Cesaro with a side head lock and Rey with a waist lock. Cesaro with a standing switch and Rey with a standing switch of his own. Rey with a bridge for a near fall. Rey with a kick to the leg. Rey with a rollup for a near fall. Cesaro with a clothesline to Rey. Cesaro with an elbow drop for a near fall. Cesaro with a European uppercut.

We see AJ watching a monitor in the back.

Rey with a boot to Cesaro but Cesaro gets Rey on his shoulders and Rey sends Cesaro over the top rope but he keeps Rey on his shoulders. Rey sends Cesaro into the apron with a rana. Rey with a sliding splash under the bottom rope onto Cesaro. Rey with a springbaord head scissors that sends Cesaro into the ropes but Cesaro escapes the ropes. Rey with a drop kick and then Rey sends Cesaro into the ringside barrier with a head scissors.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Rey gets back into the ring after we see what happened during the commercial break with a power bomb into the ring post and a running European uppercut. Cesaro with an elbow off the turnbuckles and he gets a near fall. Cesaro with a chin lock. Rey with elbows but Cesaro sends Rey into the turnbuckles. Cesaro sets for a superplex but Rey with forearms and a head butt to send Cesaro to the mat. Rey with a seated senton and a head scissors that sends Cesaro into the turnbuckles. Cesaro with a sunset flip, but you don’t sunset flip Rey because he rolls through and hits a drop kick for a near fall. Rey with a springboard cross body but he is met with a European uppercut for a near fall.

Cesaro sets for the Gotch Style Neutralizer but Rey blocks it. Cesaro with a leg drop and a running boot for a near fall. Cesaro with a gutwrench into an attempted splash mountain into the turnbuckles but Rey counters with a rana that sends Cesaro into the turnbuckles. Rey goes up top but Cesaro with a European uppercut. Cesaro gets Rey on his shoulders and Cesaro climbs the turnbuckles. Rey with forearms and he goes for a Frankensteiner but Cesaro blocks it. Rey with head butts and Rey with a super bulldog. Rey with a 619 and then Rey goes up top for a frog splash and the three count.

Match Number Eight: Number One Contender Battle Royal (featuring Baron Corbin, Braun Strowman, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Big E, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, and Sami Zayn)

The Universal Champion and Paul Heyman make their way to the stage to watch the match and see who will be his opponent in Toronto.

The bell rings and Rollins goes after Corbin as they pair off and Corbin with a choke slam. Corbin sends Rollins to the apron but Rollins gets back into the ring. Braun punches Lashley in the ribs and Corbin makes the save for Lashley as Baron and Bobby pair up and work over Braun. Rollins battles with Rey while Cesaro goes after Rollins with a European uppercut. Cesaro with running European uppercuts to everyone but Bobby, Braun, and Baron. Cesaro with the giant swing to Rey. Cesaro catapults Rey over the top rope but Rey holds on. Big E picks up Cesaro but Cesaro esdcapes. Lashley with a cross body to Cesaro and Lashley eliminates Cesaro with a press slam. Rey kicks Lashley in the ribs and hits a springboard drop kick.

Lashley is eliminated by Strowman. Big E stares down Braun. Big E goes for a clothesline but Braun stays on his feet. Braun with a shoulder tackle to Big E. Big E sends Braun into the turnbuckles and Big E hits the Big Ending on BRaun. Orton with an RKO to Big E. Zayn eliminates Big E and Zayn celebrates. Zayn turns around into an RKO. Rey drop kicks Sami into the ropes. Rey with a 619 and Orton sends Zayn over the top rope. Orton with an RKO to Reigns. Rey with a 619 to Roman but Roman with a Superman punch that sends Orton to the floor.

Baron eliminates Rey. We are down to five with Rollins, Reigns, Strowman, and Corbin in the ring and Orton is on the floor. Baron is cornered and Strowman punches Corbin and Corbin tries to get out of the ring but Reigns with a Drive By and Rollins eliminates Corbin. Braun with a splash to Rollins and he blocks a Superman punch. Strowman with splashes to Rollins and Reigns. Roman goes for a spear on Strowman but Braun moves and Roman spears Rollins. Braun picks up Roman and Roman goes to the apron but he applies a front face lock to pull Braun over the top and Seth sends Roman and Braun to the floor.

Randy Orton returns to the ring and sends Rollins over the top rope but Rollins holds on. Orton and Rollins exchange punches. Orton with an IEDDT to Rollins and it brings Rollins back into the ring. Orton looks around and he twists to the mat for an RKO but Rollins escapes and hits Black Out. Rollins eliminates Orton.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Match Number Four: No Way Jose versus Cesaro

Jose goes after Cesaro when the conga line runs away from Cesaro. Cesaro is sent into the steps and ringside barrier before the return ot the ring.

The match starts and Jose with punches. Cesaro with a European uppercut and then he connects with a series in the corner. Cesaro with a gutwrench suplex. Cesaro with the Giant Swing into the Sharpshooter and Jose taps out.

Match Number Three: Ricochet versus Cesaro

Ricochet is sent into the turnbuckles and he leaps off the turnbuckles and hits a rana. Ricochet with a rollup for a near fall. Cesaro with a knee and punch but Ricochet with a kick to Cesaro and a drop kick. Ricochet with a plancha onto Cesaro as we go to commercial.

We are back and Cesaro with an abdominal stretch. Ricochet with shoulders and punches and he tries for a sunset flip but Cesaro does not go over. Cesaro with an overhead throw by the chin for a near fall. Cesaro with a double stomp for a near fall. Cesaro with a rear chin lock but Ricochet with a knee. Cesaro with an elbow drop for a near fall. Cesaro with punches to the bac and then Ricochet with an elbow. Cesaro blocks a kick and then he pulls Ricochet out of the corner but Ricochet lands on his feet. Ricochet with a super kick to Cesaro. Ricochet with a running shoulder in the corner adn hits a springboard clothesline. Ricochet gets a near fall. Ricochet with a standing shooting star press for a near fall.

Ricochet pulls Cesaro into the corner and Ricochet goes up top but he takes too long and Cesaro recovers with a European uppercut. Cesaro with another running European uppercut. Cesaro sets for a superplex but Ricochet with a knee to the head and he kicks Cesaro off the turnbuckles. Ricochet with a kick and then Ricochet goes up top for the 630 splash and rolls through and Cesaro with a running European uppercut that bounces Ricochet off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Cesaro gets Ricochet on his shoulders and Ricochet goes for a rana but Cesaro blocks it. Ricochet with a Code Red for a near fall.

Ricochet with a boot to Cesaro as Cesaro charges at him. Ricochet with a handstand to the apron and then hits a rana for the three count.

We see what happened to Ricochet last night when he was tossed over the ropes through a ladder.

We see Cesaro telling Ricochet he deserved to be hurt after last night. Ricochet says he would do it again. Cesaro tells Ricochet to get some ice and take the night off. Ricochet says he is fine. Cesaro tells the doc to tape him up.

Match Number Two: Ricochet versus Cesaro

Cesaro sends Ricochet into the corner and Ricochet with punches. Cesaro with a high back body drop to Ricochet. Ricochet goes to the floor. Cesaro tries to send Ricochet into the ring post but Ricochet escapes and sends Cesaro into the ring post. Ricochet with an Asai Moonsault off the ring post onto Cesaro. Ricochet goes for a pescado but Cesaro catches Ricochet and drops him on the apron.

We are back and Cesaro with a bow and arrow. Ricochet with punches and then Ricochet gets on Cesaro’s shoulders but is sent to the mat but lands on his feet. Ricochet with a satellite head scissors followed by a Fosbury Flop onto Cesaro. Ricochet sends Cesaro back into the ring and Ricochet goes for a cross body but Cesaro with a European uppercut to stop him. Cesaro with a back breaker from a military press followed by the Gotch Style Neutralizer for the three count.

Match Number Four: Cedric Alexander versus Cesaro

They lock up and Cesaro sends Alexander to the mat. They lock up and Cesaro with a wrist lock. Alexander with a reversal and side head lock. Cesaro blocks a take down but Alexander lands on his feet. Cesaro with a European uppercut followed by another one and a chop. Cesaro with another chop. Cesaro with a kick and Irish whip but Alexander floats over and hits a handstand head scissors followed by a drop kick. Alexander goes for a slam but he cannot get Cesaro up and Cesaro with a slam. Cesaro with an elbow drop and he gets a near fall. Alexander with a kick and he comes off the turnbuckles but Cesaro catches Alexander and hits a back breaker for a near fall.

Cesaro with a sliding forearm to the back and a reverse chin lock. Alexander with forearms but he runs into a boot and Cesaro gets a near fall. Cesaro with a deadlift gutwrench suplex for a near fall. Cesaro with a reverse chin lock. Alexander goes for a sunset flip ut Cesaro will not go over. Alexander avoids a choke and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Alexander with chops and forearms. Alexander blocks a kick and hits a back elbow followed by a drop kick to the knees and a drop kick. Alexander is sent to the apron but he connects with a forearm and Cesaro blocks the slingshot flatliner. Alexander with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.

Alexander with a Neuralizer that sends Cesro to the floor and Alexander with a plancha onto Cesaro. Alexander with a springboard move but he is met with a European uppercut for the three count.

Match Number Four: Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy versus Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder in the Finals of the Tag Team Eliminator

Dawson and Hardy start things off and Hardy with a waist lock. Wilder with a tag and he punches Hardy. Wilder tries to send Hardy into the turnbuckles and he blocks it. Hardy with the delete turnbuckle shots and then he runs into an elbow. Matt with a hip toss. Wyatt tags in and he kicks Wilder in the head. Wyatt sets for Sister Abigail but Dawson distracts Bray. Wilder with kicks and then Wyatt falls to the mat and does the crab walk.

Hardy with a punch and Wyatt with a punch. Matt tags in and they hit a double back elbow and Wyatt with a back senton while Hardy hits a leg drop. Wyatt slams Dawson onto Wilder and Matt says it is WONDERFUL. Dawson with a tag and they hit a double clothesline. Dawson with kicks and elbow drops. Dawson with punches to the forehead. Dawson with a short arm clothesline and he gets a near fall. Dawson with a reverse chin lock. Matt with punches and a forearm. Wyatt comes into the ring and the referee sends him back into the corner. Dawson gets a near fall.

Wilder tags in and they hit a double head butt. Dawson tags back in and he kicks Hardy. Dawson with an Irish whip but he runs into an elbow and Matt with a Side Effect. Wilder and Wyatt tag in and Wyatt with clotheslines. Wyatt with punches and then he punches Dawson. Wyatt with a splash into the corner followed by a uranage. Wyatt goes to the turnbuckles and he leans back. Wyatt hits Sister Abigail on Dawson and Matt tags in and hits an elevated Twist of Fate for the three count.

Winners: Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt

After the match, we get a stare down with Sheamus and Cesaro on the announce table while Hardy and Wyatt are in the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sheamus and Cesaro walk in the back. Sheamus says they have never seen a weirder looking tag team . . .

They see Tyler Breeze and Fandango. Fandango says the Fashion Police have been transferred to a new precinct. They comment on Sheamus’ mohawks and their dresses. They give Sheamus and Cesaro some tickets.

Match Number Seven: Tyler Breeze and Fandango versus Sheamus and Cesaro

Fandango and Cesaro start things off and Fandango takes Cesaro’s jacket. Cesaro with a kick and European uppercut. Cesaro with a shoulder tackle. Cesaro goes for a sunset flip and Fandango stays on his feet and he does some dancing and hits a leg drop for a near fall. Breeze tags in and he punches Cesaro. Breeze avoids Sheamus but he cannot avoid the pop up European uppercut. Cesaro rips off Breeze’s shirt and tags in Sheamus. Sheamus with kicks and then Cesaro gets in a few shots. Breeze blocks a punch and connects with punches of his own but Sheamus runs Breeze into the corner. Cesaro tags in and they hit a double thrust kick for a near fall.

Cesaro with a reverse chin lock. Sheamus tags in and they hit a double clothesline. Sheamus with a knee to the back followed by a reverse chin lock. Breeze with a jaw breaker to get out of the hold but Sheamus with a clothesline and he knocks Fandango off the apron. Sheamus with a back breaker and Cesaro with an elbow drop for a near fall. Fandango pulls Sheamus off the apron and Breeze with a sunset flip for the three count.

Winners: Tyler Breeze and Fandango

We are back and Sheamus and Cesaro are in the ring.

Sheamus mentions Braun and he says that he needs to listen up fella. Cesaro says they don’t care who his partner is. Sheamus says it does not matter to them. Cesaro says no matter how big or strong you are, you have to tag in your partner. Sheamus says you have to be on the same page or you will need a Plan B, C, D, E, or F. Sheamus says you will never be a real team. Cesaro says you will never get these.

Braun Strowman comes out to the stage. Braun says if you are trying to say that he doesn’t play well with others, then you are right. Braun says management made it clear that he needs a partner to contend for the tag titles and he has one. He was talking to him in the back and he does not appreciate what you clowns are saying.

Cesaro tells him to come out if he has a problem.

Braun says he will, but he wants a match against one of you.

Sheamus and Cesaro think about it and Sheamus says how can they pass up this opportunity.

Braun says he will go get him. Braun says he is a lot like him . . . just a little different.

Braun’s music plays and it is him in a white shirt and wearing glasses. He says his name is Brains.

Match Number Three: Brains Strowman versus Cesaro (with Sheamus)

Sheamus and Cesaro attack Strowman but Strowman fights back. Sheamus with a Brogue Kick and Cesaro punches him. Strowman pushes them off and Braun biels Cesaro and Sheamus goes to the floor.

Sheamus says everyone thinks you are so tough pushing over trucks but they have figured him out. You scare people when your music plays. Sheamus says there will be no surprises at Wrestlemania so they want to know his partner at Wrestlemania so they can prepare.

Braun asks if the two whiny babies want to know who his partner is. All you have to do is get in this ring and beat him.

Sheamus wants to know how is that fair so they want an answer right now.

Braun says maybe he will get an answer but he guarantees that you will get these hands.

Match Number Four: Braun Strowman versus Sheamus (with Cesaro)

Cesaro distracts Strowman but it does not work too well and Strowman with a biel. Strowman goes over the top rope when Sheamus moves. Sheamus with forearms and then Strowman sends Sheamus over the top rope with a forearm across the chest. Strowman sends Sheamus back into the rin. Strowman with a running shoulder tackle that knocks Sheamus off the apron and into the ringside barrier as we go to commercial.

We are back and Cesaro tries to distract Strowman. Strowman misses a boot and Strowman gets caught on the top rope. Sheamus with kicks to the leg followed by a DDT and more kicks to the knee. Sheamus with a bicycle kick to the arm and then he continues to work on the arm with forearms. Sheamus with a top wrist lock. Sheamus with knees to the midsection but Strowman gets back to his feet and he takes Sheamus down. Strowman with clotheslines and Sheamus goes to the floor. Strowman with a running shoulder tackle on the floor.

Strowman Irish whips Sheamus into the ringside barrier. Cesaro backs away from Strowman. Strowman misses a shoulder in the corner and hits the ring post. Sheamus goes up top and hits a clothesline for a near fall. Sheamus with a kick to the midsection and more kicks to the back. Strowman with an elbow to Sheamus and a punch to Cesaro to knock him off the apron. Sheamus misses a boot in the corner and Strowman with a splash and power slam for the three count.

Winner: Braun Strowman
